Spaix Modules for Calculation / Selection
With its modules for the calculation and selection VSX - VOGEL SOFTWARE provides different feasibilities to extend the functionality of the selection program.
Spaix PipeCalc enables the duty point calculation for the hydraulic selection of centrifugal pumps. With the help of the Spaix CableSelector a cable dimension for submersible pumps with the determination of the allowable cable cross-sections can be carried out. The Spaix SeallossCalculator provides the calculation of power losses depending on the chosen shaft seal. The Spaix InducerHandler can be used for the visualization of modified NPSH performance curves by using an inducer. The Spaix MagdriveSizer complements the PumpSelector with the selection of magnetic drives. With the Spaix PumpExchanger old pumps can be substituted by new models. The Spaix ReverseSearcher enables the search of all spare part lists that contain a predefined spare part.
Spaix PipeCalc
Spaix PipeCalc provides the functionality of duty point calculation for the hydraulic selection of centrifugal pumps. The software contains the quantity determination for different applications according to international standards, e. g. for wastewater on the basis of DIN EN 12056 and for drinking water on the basis of DIN 1988. Moreover, the program contains the friction loss calculation for unbranched systems. Thereby, users can choose between the calculation methods according to Colebrook or Hazen-Williams.
Spaix CableSelector
The Spaix CableSelector is able to carry out a cable dimension for submersible pumps with determining the allowable cable cross-sections. The calculation of the permitted cable length depends on the drive configuration and nominal voltage.
Spaix SeallossCalculator
The Spaix SeallossCalculator enables the calculation of power losses depending on the chosen shaft seal. Thereby, the power loss can be stored in the database for any seal size depending on material and manufacturer in consideration of the speed of the pump. The pump selection program calculates the adjusted performance and efficiency curves and uses them for the selection and dimensioning of the drive and other components.Spaix InducerHandler
The Spaix InducerHandler conduces to the visualization of modified NPSH performance curves by using an inducer. The relevant information within the selection program is updated depending on the chosen configuration.Spaix MagdriveSizer
The Spaix MagdriveSizer was specifically developed for companies for which the selection of magnetic drives is an indispensable part of the product configuration. In this expanded selection the safety factors are considered depending on the moment of inertia.Spaix PumpExchanger
The module Spaix PumpExchanger enables the pump exchange via allocation of old pumps (own as well as competitive products) to the appropriate current model. The pump models are allocated directly including comments and necessary accessories. Thereby, the search of the old pump occurs depending on different criteria.Spaix ReverseSearcher
The Spaix ReverseSearcher allows the search for all spare part lists containing a given spare part. This not only provides detailed search results but also avoids long search times.Spaix CurveExtensions
